Lubec Fishermen's Memorial

Our Mayor, Council, and Municipal Staff have been following the progress of the Lost Fishermen's Memorial since it was first brought to their attention. There are roughly 50 Grand Manan names to be erected on the Memorial which will be located in Lubec, Maine. The memorial is to commemorate the lives lost of 200 souls in the Bay of Fundy. We feel it is important since our community is so greatly affected, by not only the fishing industry, but also as a community that is deeply rooted within it, that we advertise the importance of such a tribute.

The Lost Fishermen’s Memorial Association is seeking contributions of any denomination for this worthwhile endeavor.
